In our hands, feet and head we have hundreds of acupuncture points which all need care from time to time. We are all guilty of neglecting our own bodies and especially our heads! The only time western people usually care about their heads is when shampooing. Yet it is the tender touch which makes your blood circulation flow better and makes your mind clearer. Narendra Mehta is the Indian guru of Indian head massage. He is blind since birth and has developed the way of Indian head massages. The treatment takes 45 minutes and lasts for 24-36 hours. If you are having acute migraine or some serious illness such as cancer, psoriasis or epilepsy it is not recommended. The massage increase the effects of any medication you may be taking, so if you are on heavy antibiotics you need to wait for your massage until you finish your medicines. On the other hand, if you need to relax, prepare yourself for something challenging or just pamper yourself, the way of touch is certainly for you. I have also added to my treatment sessions of Reiki healing which I use to see if your body wants to cry out and let go of some problems.
